Kasper Schmeichel has a heart-breaking message for Liverpool fans

Brendan Rodgers was doing a good job of stopping Manchester City at the Etihad until the 70th minute. That is when Kompany launched a rocket into Kasper Schmeichel’s net. Now, it goes into the last day and if City win on Sunday then they retain the title.

Liverpool fans can’t shy away from the fact and the fact of this matter is that Kompany scored a darned good goal to keep his team on top of the league.

The league is not done by any means as Liverpool and City will both go into the last day of the season hoping to lift the title. The season has been very close and prior to the last match, this is how the teams stacked up against each other:

City and Liverpool are inseparable from each other this season

If City win, it’s all over for Liverpool. The Reds would have come closest to winning the title without actually winning it. The runners-up with the highest point total. In short, Liverpool fans should be proud of their team regardless of the result on the final day.

In the game between City and Leicester, Rodger’s boys did the best they could and still came out not good enough. This led the former Premier League champion to make a claim about Manchester City.

“We worked really hard, but our legs were heavy and we shouldn’t give Vincent Kompany time on the edge of the box like that,”

“I can’t see them losing their next game.”

Let’s wait for Sunday then, and whatever happens YNWA!
