Manchester United are in a need of a Right Back in the summer transfer window with Antonio Valencia set to leave the Old Trafford at the end of the season.
We have been linked with the likes of Thomas Meunier and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to compete with the inexperienced Diogo Dalot next summer in a bid to rebuild our squad.
However, there’s another player who has been linked on and off with the Red Devils and he’s Tottenham and Three Lions first choice Right Back Keiran Trippier.
The 28-year-old had a brilliant 2017-18 season and was one of the best players in our impressive world cup campaign. But, Trippier hasn’t been on the same level this season.
The current Tottenham star’s season has been marred with injuries and inconsistent form and according to latest reports, is looking to make a move away from the Lilywhites.
The reports also add that Serie A side Napoli has already made a bid or Trippier worth £15-17m, but the bid was swiftly rejected as Daniel Levy is holding out for at least £30m pounds for the Three Lions star.
Kieran Trippier is set to be interested in Napoli but is holding out for Manchester United as the Red Devils are his first choice ahead of any other clubs. Keiran Trippier grew up in Bury, Greater Manchester and would like to end his career with Manchester United.
It still remains to be seen whether the transfer materializes but Manchester United are in a need of a Right Back and £30m is quite affordable for Daniel Levy in today’s market.
