For the second successive year, Jurgen Klopp has guided Liverpool to the finals of European football.
Last year they were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League finals, but this season they made one of the most incredible comebacks against Barcelona in the semifinals which the football world has ever seen.
Now the Reds have a wonderful opportunity to win European most prestigious club competition against Tottenham which is slated to take place at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in Madrid.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach has taken Liverpool on an encouraging path, and Spanish football journalist Balague feels that he may extend his current deal which will expire in 2022.
“Seven years at Liverpool and that’s it? Maybe ten years at Liverpool.
“But what’s quite clear is that he is very comfortable, he is very happy.”
“I would say now in the final are the two teams which showed the biggest heart in the whole competition.”
Klopp has a golden chance to lift his first piece of silverware as a Liverpool boss – and a major one at that – in the Champions League final next Saturday.
And before the first all-English Champions League final in 11 years, the 51-year-old feels that it will be a great match as two English will be facing each other after such a long time.
