Klopp: I’ve to leave players out for the quarter-final with Porto

Liverpool face Porto in the quarter-final of this season’s Champions League. In the pre-match presser, Klopp reveals that two players are certainly going to miss out on this match.

First is Joe Gomez, who is out with a broken ankle and in the light training phase of his rehabilitation. He is expected out for the next couple of weeks.

The other player to miss the quarter final first leg at Anfield is Adam Lallana. He has an undisclosed muscle injury that should keep him out no longer than this upcoming fixture.

“We wanted to have Joe around, not because he is now 100 per cent ready but it was just nice to have him.”

“He could be maybe [available] but for him, it’s better to have more sessions. Joe needs that, he is not long enough in training.”
