Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has given updates on the availability of Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren amd Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain before our match against Cardiff.
“Joe [Gomez] looked good. Will he start? We’ll see. We have a lot of players with a lot of rhythm but it’s good to have him. It’s the same with Ox. It’s very good to have them back and in contention,” he’s quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
“We are not tired! It’s a decisive period of the season and it’s good to be involved in two competitions. It’s a sign of success.”
Dejan [Lovren] was ill but he should be available again. Pretty much all the rest should be available. I heard nothing serious after Porto.”
Matip has performed brilliantly in the absence of Gomez and Lovren and one of VVD and Matip could afford a much-needed rest with the return of the injured duo.
Would you start Gomez and Lovren against Cardiff?
