Divock Origi may not be the main man at Liverpool but Klopp would rather not face him as an opponent. Also, his time at the beginning of the season may have been limited but it is now increasing consistently.
Origi has so far played in ten league games this season, scoring twice. His appearances in the Champions League have all been as a substitute.
As is normal in such a situation, Klopp couldn’t give him the deserved minutes in the beginning but as the season wore on, the appearances are increasing.
“Div is doing well, really well in training,”
“If we have the opportunity to play 11 v 11 and Div is in the other team then he’s a proper challenge to deal with.
“He can play two positions at least which is good. For us, it’s very important to keep the speed on the wing. His size is also important for defensive set-pieces.
“All credit to Div, he has done really well and it’s absolutely deserved. Not one second that he’s been given has been a present this season.”
