According to some rumours, Jurgen Klopp is interested in Wolves’ left back Ruben Vinagre and has asked him whether he would like to live in Liverpool.
As we already know the daily commute from Liverpool to Wolves is just not plausible for a footballer, so we can assume the German is interested in a permanent transfer of the Portuguese.
The 20-year-old has made 14 Premier League appearances for Wolves this season and could be a good backup option for Andrew Robertson after Alberto Moreno leaves this summer, which is almost a certainty by this point.
There’s just no way any Premier League Left Back will start ahead of Andy Robertson in current form, so we can also assume that Vinagre will be one for the future, given that he’s only 20 (today is the lad’s birthday!)
If the fee doesn’t exceed £20million mark, this might just be a good signing that will set us up nicely for the left back spot going into the next season.
However, if we can get the other “Ruben” from Wolves, that would be just perfect, wouldn’t it?
