Christian Eriksen didn’t waste any time after the Champions League final to express his desire to play for Real Madrid. However, no offers have been forthcoming for the Danish midfielder. Real Madrid have already emptied their transfer kitty on the likes of Eden Hazard. Now, Daniel Levy hopes to get a deal through in the best interest of everyone involved.

Tottenham’s Eriksen to be swapped with Marco Asensio
Real Madrid hoped of a life without Ronaldo where homegrown talent took centre-stage. A departure from the Galactico days. However, that didn’t turn out as expected and they splashed the cash this summer. To oblige with FFP, the club may now be forced to sell those same academy stars. None are more prominent than Marco Asensio. Daniel Levy wants him in return of Eriksen if Real Madrid really want Tottenham’s disgruntled midfielder.
Marco Asensio is a rising star in Spain
Marco Asensio has always been hailed as the next big thing to come out of Real Madrid’s academy. Even if not the established footballer, he has the scope of developing into a very good winger. Asensio had a good number of appearances for Madrid last season as they underwent a torrential season. Now, he is linked with a move away.
Assensio can play across the front line, giving his manager the chance to mix things up if need be. Across 44 games last season Marco Asensio had six goals and seven assists to his name. Besides, the winger has already been capped 24 times for the Spanish national team. At 23, bigger things are expected of him but the arrival of Hazard will certainly return him to pre-Ronaldo era at Madrid.
This is the plot Levy wants to thicken. So that Tottenham can convince the talented youngster that the grass is greener on the other side. He is also hoping of getting some money in addition to Asensio in return for Christian Eriksen’s transfer.
Just Levy things!
