Liverpool are back on top of the Premier League table as they beat Tottenham in a thriller at Anfield. Roberto Firmino fired Liverpool in front on 70 minutes. Andy Robertson set up Bobby for the first Reds goal.

But the second half saw Spurs turn the game on its head. Lucas Moura scored at 70 minutes to draw Spurs level. His efforts were of no value however, as Mohamed Salah forced an own goal from Toby Alderweireld in added time.

Overall, the game was evenly balanced and saw both sides defending and attacking well. Klopp’s men proved their superiority and drive. In pursuit of the title, a win over Spurs was the only way it could be.

2 points more than Man City, Liverpool sit pretty at the top of table after beating Pochettino’s men.
