According to some reports in the French media, Wolverhampton Wanderers might be ready to sell their star attacker Adama Traore for £75m with a host of English Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, interested in signing the player.
24-year-old Traore is having a phenomenal season for the Molineux outfit, proving 10 assists and scoring five times in his 35 appearances in all competitions.
Thanks to his improved performances, SoccerLink claim a string of Premier League clubs including Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham, have shown interest in the player. Despite having wealth of attacking players at their disposal, Liverpool are said to be leading the race to sign the mercurial star.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp singled Traore out for praise following the Reds’ 2-1 win away against Wolves last week.
He is unplayable in moments, it’s unbelievable,” the German said.
“What a player – it’s not only him but he’s so good.”
It is not just Premier League clubs with an interest in Traore. Paris-Saint Germain are also said to be keen. He will not come cheap, however.
According to SoccerLink, Wolves have slapped a £75m transfer price tag on Traore’s head to scare off his suitors.
