The 27-year-old attacking midfielder left the Anfield in January last year but hasn’t been able to perform well at the Nou Camp.
However, Liverpool have again re-ignited their interest in signing Coutinho.
Meanwhile, plenty of rumours suggest that Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen to sign the attacking midfielder.
Jurgen Klopp is seeking to strengthen his side in this transfer window and the news of the Red’s interest in Coutinho comes just a couple of days after the Brazilian announced he might leave Barcelona.
Coutinho said, “I don’t know if I will continue at Barcelona,” Coutinho said while at the Copa America.
“Nobody knows about the future, and right now, I am focused on playing with my national team at the Copa America.”
The Brazilian international has scored 32 goals in 76 games in this season.
Given the massive hype and his price-tag, Coutinho has been off-colour this season for Barcelona and has failed to live up to the expectation.
