Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah posted a two-word tweet, to summarize his side’s astounding come back from behind against Barcelona last night.
The Egyptian who was out in the sidelines after suffering from an injury during Liverpool’s Premier League win against Newcastle at the weekend.
It was a daunting task for the Jurgen Klopp’s men which they had to do on their own, with their top goalscorer Salah and fellow key forward Roberto Firmino missing the fixture while trailing 3-0 from the first leg.
But many Liverpool stars including Dejan Lovren insisted that a comeback was still possible, while Salah himself turned up to Anfield wearing a t-shirt that simply said: ‘Never give up.’
Salah joined in on the post-match celebrations, coming down from the stands to go and join his Liverpool team-mates as they celebrated in front of the Kop.
And still in a jubilant mood after the match, Salah tweeted a picture of himself pre-match wearing his inspirational t-shirt with the words: ‘Caption included.’
Salah has previously acknowledged his deep-rooted desire to win the Champions League.
The 26-year-old forward has expressed his desire to win the Champions League and the Premier League for Liverpool and that the fans are eager to see their team lifting the trophy.
