It was a memorable night for the Liverpool’s youngster Rhian Brewster a who got wonderful experience to Champions League football on Tuesday night.
The teenage star was introduced on Jurgen Klopp’s bench for the very first time in European competition as both Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino who both were injured and were not there in the dugout.
The striker did not make his first-team debut but was relishing every minute of being involved on a memorable night at the Anfield.
The 19-year-old was spotted dancing on the bench and singing along a rousing rendition of “we shall not be moved” reverberated around the Anfield stands in stoppage time.
Brewster was seen singing along with the fans as the camera showed the German manager pacing along the touchline in the closing stages of the game.
The fans were quick to spot his actions and love then way his singing
represented the bond between the players and supporters.
One fan joked that he “looked like he was a fan on a day out” as he soaked up the atmosphere, whilst another declared he deserved “man of the match” for getting involved.
“Rhian Brewster. Best seats in the house. Singing like a schoolboy on a tour of Anfield at full time. What a boy” another fan wrote.
Others remarked Brewster’s singing and dancing was “bloody brilliant” and the “best thing they’ve seen all day”.
