Liverpool fans are very much surprised on emerging transfer rumours linking Shaqiri to West Ham for a fee of £22.5m.
According to The Daily Post, the Irons are eyeing the Swiss winger as they prepare themselves for a busy summer window.
The Reds have set a price tag of £22.5m for the 27-year-old after he failed to make through the lineup in the second half of the season, and the Hammers are willing to pay the amount mentioned above for Shaqiri.
However, many Liverpool fans are infuriated with the rumoured reports, and wondering why the club wants to sell the player who has provided the much-needed attack in depth this season.
The fans feel that there is no point in selling Shaqrir and took to Twitter as they are against selling him.
Take a look for yourselves!

Shaq is quality. Had a good first season IMO. Anything under 30m is bad.

He's worth minimum £40m

Why on earth do we wanna sell up? I love the cube

Would be disrespectful to sell him. He’s a great asset to the club and proved he can be an impactful super sub

We can't sell him he worked hard for team and scored some important goals for us. Is this the media at work trying to unsettle players before the big match.

I wouldn't sell him. He has had a good season for us. He's been good when given the chance and has good impact when coming off the bench. If he's happy at Liverpool, which looks like he is I wouldn't sell. We do need a strong bench, not just a strong 11.

Nope. That’s a terrible deal for us. Hes worth more we just don’t think so because of his relegation release clause price we signed him for

Shaqiri was a perfect bargain deal for the Merseyside club as he made a significant impact in the first season scoring six goals.
The former Stokeman came off the bench to score twice against Manchester United in December at the Anfield. He played only 19 minutes, but his play impact resulted in Liverpool gaining three key points.
YES! Indeed! It would be disrespectful to sell him!
