According to the reports in Daily Star, Liverpool has agreed on the terms to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
The Red’s had been linked with Houssem Aouar and Nabil Fekir in the past, however, they have been keen to sign the 22-year-old Ndombele.
The 22-year-old has been in an excellent form for Lyon this season and has made 48 appearances for both club and country.
Ndombele had impressed for the French club in the Champions League and was one of their best players when they defeated Manchester City at the Etihad.
The midfielder has been impressive in the Champions League and scoring two goals. His performance has drawn interest from the clubs like Juventus, PSG, Manchester City and Mnchester United also confirmed their interest in the talented player.
Lyon president Aulas believes a move to Serie A champions Juve – where Ndombele could play alongside former Lyon playmaker Miralem Pjanic – would suit the France international.
“It’s true that Juve are after Ndombele,” he told Tuttosport.
“But there’s also PSG, Manchester United and City. I’d honestly like to see Ndombele at Juventus with Pjanic, a player we launched at Lyon and who I’m still very attached to”.
Ndombele’s style of play has been compared with that of Paul Pogba as he can contribute a lot with his talent.
