Liverpool have unveiled new training gear for the upcoming season made by Boston based New Balance. While a new kit sponsor is being lined up as of now, with Nike being the frontrunner. Liverpool have gone ahead and added AXA as the official training kit sponsors of the club.
French insurance major AXA is set to become the official training kit sponsor after signing the contract last October. The new kit is available for pre-order if you have the money burning a hole in your pocket.
The deal with New Balance runs out next year and both Nike and Adidas are vying for an agreement. It is believed the new deal would eclipse that of Manchester United and Adidas. Liverpool have already supplanted the Red Devils as England’s eminent club in Europe. Now they are set to do so in terms of the value of the kit, with expected amounts pegging the prospective deal at around £85 million per year.
In New Balance kits, Liverpool set the record for their highest ever selling kit line for the season 2017/18. It was broken in the current season. Such is the demand for Liverpool shirts since Klopp took over.
In other news, Liverpool are hanging by a thread in the semi-final of the Champions League. Messi struck twice to down us at Nou Camp. Anfield will hopefully be different in terms of the result. Liverpool have the task of overhauling a 3 goal deficit while not giving up an away goal to Barcelona.
