Liverpool has received a huge boost as Roberto Firmino may be fit for the Champions League finals on 1 June.
The Brazilian forward has been a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s team during this season.
However, the winger had been out of action due to a groin injury and played his cameo off the bench in the first leg against Barcelona his only appearance in the last four matches.
The 27-year-old has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season, including four in Europe. He also has seven assists in the Champions League and the Premier League and played a key role along with Salah and Mane.
Coutinho may miss the rest of the season after Klopp ruled him out of playing against Barcelona in the second leg at the Anfield.
“He will not be ready for Tuesday and the rest we will see,” said the German after watching his side return to the top-flight summit.
Firminho came on the field in the last minutes of his sides 3-0 defeat at the Camp Nou in the first leg but was left out of the squad due to his injury.
Its doubtful of him to play in the last Premier League game of the season, at home to Wolves.
