According to the rumoured reports, Liverpool has been linked with the Welsh international Gareth Bale, and the former Spurs playmaker could join the Anfield club this summer.
Real Madrid smashed their transfer record to lure Bale in 2013 and to be believed; the Los Blancos wants 130 million euros (£114million) for the Welsh star, who currently earns net 15 million euros annually.
Bales mentioned price and wages are too high for Liverpool, and the Merseyside club aren’t known for spending a considerable amount for players close to the age of 30.
As far as Liverpool’s attack is concerned, Klopp would be looking to add more depth in the attack by luring a young versatile attacker, who can serve for the club in the long run.
The 28-year-old undoubtedly can be a world class player when he is in form. The Welsh men scored two goals against Liverpool in the finals of the Champions League last season.
However, in the past few season campaigns, he has been suffering from injuries and even when fit, he has been inconsistent on the field.
The Welsh playmaker has played his best till now in Madrid and with his current contract is set to expire in 2022 with the Spanish giants, and it will be intriguing to see that if Liverpool will go for the talented winger this summer.
