Lyon striker Moussa Dembele is in high demand this summer. The striker has scored only 14 goals in 31 league games this season. Chipping in with five more assists. The player is yet to feature for the France National team but would like to move to a bigger club than Lyon.
Liverpool are said to be interested in the striker but are facing competition from Manchester United and Arsenal. He would cost in the region of £40 million. Dembele had moved to the Ligue 1 club only last summer but may switch once more to reach a more competitive team.
He had already been in England with Fulham. The London outfit sold him to Celtic where he was in free scoring form. Since moving to the French team, he has plundered 22 goals with a single season and proven that he is not a fluke. Premier League clubs want him for his characteristics which include dribbling, passing and shooting.
Liverpool are on the lookout for a striker after it was confirmed Daniel Sturridge will be allowed to leave while Divock Origi (with all his heroics) is still not an elite backup.
Liverpool have been linked heavily with attacking players including Wilfried Zaha, Timo Werner and now Moussa Dembele. The squad is full of great talent and the deep run in both the Champions League as well as the Premier League will lessen chances of a massive investment. Players like Dembele can only increase the quality of the squad.
