Liverpool is eyeing for a potential move for Fluminense forward Joao Pedro, and they might face competition from Watford, according to a report.
Liverpool’s Premier League rival Manchester United have also shown interest in the Brazilian teenager.
Meanwhile, Pedro has already reached an agreement with Premier League side Watford and the teenager will make a move to the Vicarage Road in a £2m deal in January 2020.
However, the Red’s could exploit a loophole which says Watford will have to be paid £20m if the Pedro proposed a move to the Hornets doesn’t go through.
The Anfield management has sent scouts to watch the Brazilian teenager in action, and the Fluminense talent has impressed members of Jurgen Klopp’s scouting team.
This summer Liverpool FC are rumoured to be linked with a host of players as Klopp looks to provide more depth to an impressive unit at the Merseyside club.
The 17-year-old has played 36 matches in the La Liga and has scored seven goals and provided two assists, while in Copa Italia he has made only two appearances and two matches for the Brazil U17 side.
