Liverpool is reported to have maintained their interest in the Dutch midfielder Van de Beek in this summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old has scored 17 goals and chipped in with 13 assists in 57 appearances for the club in all the competitions last season.
Reports in Daily Mail suggest that Van de Beek would be available for only €50m, and could be a fantastic addition to the Liverpool squad.
The Dutch midfielder has been in great form for the club the last season, given his performance in the domestic league.
Van de Beek possess the ability to control the game, and also can make perfectly timed runs into the opposition’s penalty box.
He would provide pace to the Liverpool’s midfield during their build-up play, and his game playing abilities would be a compliment to the likes of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner.
Van deek has proved that he can play with the best players in the football world and he could be an ideal signing for Liverpool.
He scored vital goals against Juventus and Tottenham and helped his side to reach to the semifinals of the Champions League last season.
