Liverpool is reported to have maintained their interest in the pursuit of Dutch forward David Neres in this summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old player scored eight goals in 31 appearances for Ajax in the Eredivisie league last season.
Liverpool is keen to sign David Neres, given that Klopp is looking to strengthen his attack for the next season and Origi and Firmino are the only recognised Striker for Klopp at the moment.
According to the reports in the Telegraph, Neres has been valued for a reported fee of £35m, which shouldn’t be a problem for Liverpool if we are really interested in signing him.
The reports suggest that Everton has also shown their interest in signing Neres.
Recently Neres, when questioned about his future, said, “Of course the Premier League interests me; it’s the best league in the world, I always had the dream to play there.”
Neres is a player, who possesses a lot of talent and skills, as evident to anyone who has followed Ajax in the last couple of years.
The Brazilian star certainly has the quality to give fierce competition to Firmino and Origi for a place in Liverpool’s starting lineup.
Neres had played four times for the Brazilian national team and was also a part of the Copa America winning team.
He made his senior team debut against the Czech Republic and scored two goals in Brazil’s 3-1 win.
