Liverpool is reported to have joined the race for the talented Coventry City midfielder Tom Bayliss, according to readliverpoolfc
The 20-year-old midfielder has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs including Aston Villa, Everton and West Ham United, who are also vying for his signature.
Bayliss could be an exciting prospect for Liverpool, as he is quick, good in possession and makes delightful moves in the tight areas.
According to Birmingham Live, all the clubs are keeping tabs on the youngster’s situation given that Coventry City is willing to release Bayliss for a meagre fee of £3million.
Bayliss made his first-team appearance in December 2017 and scored in the opening few minutes of the game.
He has he played more than 40 games in League One this season and scored three goals.
At the age of 20, Bayliss has already represented England at the U-19 level.
Bayliss joined the Coventry club at the age of 12 from the Leicestershire junior league and signed for the Sky Blues Academy.
He has worked hard in all the age groups and shown his leadership skills and captained the U-18 to the league success.
He’s an exciting talent, and it would be interesting to see where he will be playing next season.
