Liverpool star Andy Robertson should ignore any rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona.
That is the viewpoint of Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish, who says the Scotsmen is happy at Anfield and is most likely not like to leave.
The Scotland captain has been among Liverpool’s best performers this season and many have even suggested that he may be the best left-back in Europe.
Robertson played all the games but didn’t feature in two of the Reds 38 Premier League matches as they nearly missed out the title to Manchester City.
He also performed brilliantly in Liverpool’s Champions League triumph where they beat Tottenham in the final played in Madrid.
The 25-year-old was very much impressive against Barcelona in the semifinals of the Champions League and following this has led to speculations that the Spanish giants could try to attract him to the Nou Camp.
And Dalglish, the three-time European Cup winner with Liverpool, believes that Robertson will stay at Anfield regardless of any offers made for him.
“I’m told he has been linked with a couple of big European clubs. But why would he want to leave Liverpool? Seriously, tell me why?
He added: “Andy has every right to be proud of what he has helped Liverpool achieve in the past 10 months.
Andy Robertson after arriving from Hull City was a bargain for the Reds at a fee of 8m and this year in January he has signed a five-year contract with Liverpool following the footsteps of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino and Joe Gomez who all have extended their contract at the Anfield.
So, it’s most unlikely that the Wales winger will leave the club this summer after having a great season.
