Liverpool feels Napoli could make a bid to sign the right-back Nathaniel Clyne this summer for around £15m.
The Merseyside club had loaned the 28-year-old to Bournemouth for the second half of this season, where he was able to secure enough time on the field and made 15 appearances for the Cherries.
The English international is suffering from constant back pain, and due to stiff competition for a place in the playing eleven, it’s still not clear if he will be having any future at Liverpool.
The 20-year-old has 39 appearances this campaign for the Red’s, and has not only impressed by improving defensively but has also played a key role in 16 assists and scoring one goal.
Napoli is looking at him as a potential option in the right back position, and so it has to be seen whether or not Carlo Ancelotti decides to pursue him.
From Anfield Management’s point of view, while it may be thought upon that should they retain a quality depth which Clyne can provide if he stays fit.
This season Clyne hasn’t been involved in any of Liverpool’s fixture in Champions league and Merseyside the will be most likely to sell him out.
