According to reports in Football Insider, Liverpool has agreed on terms to sign a new five year deal with Sheyi Ojo as his current contract is set to expire at the end of this month, as reported by paisleygates
The young playmaker came to Anfield at the age of 14 but still has played only a few games for Liverpool.
The English international is a versatile playmaker, who can play effectively on either flank as well as in a central attacking midfield role.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is known for nurturing and promoting young talent.
At Anfield, he gave Alexander-Arnold the opportunity to shine and now the 20-year-old is one of the best right backs in the European football.
Ojo played his first Premier League match way back in 2016 and scored his first goal against Exter in his second FA Cup appearance for the Reds.
However, a shoulder injury disrupted his play and he was on the sidelines for the whole season.
Ojo has been on loan and so far has played for clubs like Wigan, Wolves, Fulham and Reims.
He has been considered as one of the best young academy players at Liverpool but has struggled to make an impact at the senior level.
