Liverpool has reported to have made an offer of €15 million for the Besiktas midfielder Dorukhan Tokoz, according to empireofthekop
The 23-year-old Tokoz has been linked with a move to the Red’s as Jurgen Klopp is very much impressed with the player’s performance in Turkey’s domestic league.
Liverpool may likely to face competition from Arsenal if they bring the negotiations for Tokoz to the final round, given that Emery is looking to reinforce Arsenal’s midfield for the upcoming season.
Emery would be willing to sign the midfielder since he is short of funds for making new transfers.
Tokoz only signed a year ago for Besiktas but has impressed with his performance ever since.
Reports also suggest that the Reds scouts have been monitoring the performance of the Turkish midfielder very closely during the last three months.
According to Sport Witness, selling Tokoz could be a great deal of bargain for the Besiktas,
given the valuations fee of some of their other players which Liverpool is interested in buying in this transfer window.
His performance at Besiktas saw him called for the national side and proved his ability against France. Tokoz was also a part of the Turkish first team which defeated France recently in the Euro Cup qualifiers by 2-0.
