Liverpool should make a move for the talented Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams in this summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old had been a target for the Reds’since 2017, according to the Mirror.
The Spanish publication AS affirms that Williams has a release clause of €88 million included with his current contract with the La Liga club.
In the last few years, Liverpool has emerged as a team with one of the most dangerous front-lines in world football.
And to become more competitive, and win the Premier League next season, it could be an ideal option for them to sign the Athletic ace.
Williams was in good form for the La Liga club in the last term, scoring 15 goals and providing four assists in 41 appearances in across all the competitions.
The Spanish international, with his quick pace, would provide Jurgen Klopp with a different option through the middle.
Roberto Firmino plays as a false nine which means he occasionally drops deep to link up play with Salah and Mane while Inaki Wiliams can be a
a threat in behind the opposition’s line of defence which gives Jurgen Klopp another dimension to his attack.
It would be a wonderful opportunity for Klopp to sign a kind of player like Williams, who can make clear, swift sprints during counter attacks.
