Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon in this summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old has scored 2 goals and provided 6 assists in the Premier League for Fulham during the last season.
According to Bleacher Report, Liverpool is keen to sign Sessegnon as he can also operate as a winger and a wing-back and could be available for a reported fee of £45.
Sessegnon is in his last year of contract with Fulham, and there are very fewer prospects of him signing a new contract, given that he would like to make step-up.
Sessegnon has attracted interest from clubs like Manchester United, Juventus, PSG, Tottenham and RB Leipzig.
Klopp also looks at the English international as a possible backup to Andy Robertson, following Alberto Moreno’s departure at the end of the season.
Sessegnon made debut for the Fulham’s first team in 2016, and the same year Sessegnon represented England in the U-17- Euro Cup also.
On 27th May 2018, Sessegnon made his debut for the England U-21’s, following to England winning a start in the tournament with a 2-1 win over Ukraine.
He scored his first international goal for England against Luxembourg in European U-19 Championship qualification match that was played on 10th November 2016.
