Liverpool has shown interest in signing Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele in this summer transfer window, according to Metro
But it seems that Barcelona is willing to recoup a hefty fee for the Frenchman, who they bought for a fee of 90m from Dortmund two years back.
The reports from Team Talk suggest that the Catalans have made an offer for Dembele to Liverpool, and would be willing to accept a fee of around £93m.
The French international joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 and is considered as one of the youngest talented forward in the world of football.
The 22-year-old has been unable to live up to the expectations and has suffered from injuries in his second spell at the club, given his massive transfer move to the Nou Camp.
Meanwhile, Klopp is not looking for any replacement for their front three but would be aiming to strengthen his squad for the next summer, and Dembele’s availability could tempt Liverpool to make a huge signing.
Dembele has made 42 appearances for Barcelona in across all competitions, and scoring total of 18 goals since arriving at Barcelona.
