As per the reports, Liverpool will not make a move for £60m-rated Nicolas Pepe this summer.
The Reds have been potentially linked with the Lille youngster, who has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
Pepe is currently valued at £60m following his exceptional performance in Ligue 1 this season.
However, it seems that Liverpool is unwilling to enter in a tug-of-war for the signing of 22-year-old.
The reports also suggest Liverpool is only looking to make small changes to their squad for the next season after having a great campaign this season.
Klopp also believes that Pepe is only being linked with a move to Merseyside to force other suitors to pay the French club more fee for the player in the coming months.
But the Lille’s club manager told that Pepe will be leaving the club before the end of August.
Christophe Galtier told Canal+, “Nicolas Pepe will leave,”.
“He is a player of the highest level who will have a big decision to make on the choice of his next club.
“There will be a battle between the great European teams.
Pepe scored 22 goals this season and also helped his side to a second place finish in the French’s League 1.
The Ivorian winger is set for the upcoming summer and will be expected to play a crucial role for his team in the African Cup of Nations.
