Quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League between Liverpool and Porto will be played on 10th April. Before that the Reds have a few English fixtures to negotiate and some injured players to introduce back in the squad.

The good news though, is that FC Porto have suffered a crucial injury before the tie at Anfield for the first leg.

Brazilian left-back Alex Telles has suffered an injury.

Apparently, Porto were not winning their league match against Braga, i.e. until Alex Telles stepped up to equalize. Equalize he did, by means of a penalty but went down in the process. He was injured while taking a penalty. He was immediately subbed off the pitch.

He posted the following message after the match:

“I believe in God and Destiny… Will be back soon.”

We’ll see!
