Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both back from long injuries yet unlikely to get match time against Tottenham. Xherdan Shaqiri and Trent Alexander Arnold are back to fitness as well and may as well make it to the bench/lineup.
It is reported that Shaqiri and the right back will be checked for fitness right before the game and depending on the result might make it to the matchday squad. This keeps almost all tactical options open for Jurgen Klopp.
Tottenham on the other hand are without Harry Winks and Eric Dier, both absent on account of injuries.
This gives Liverpool a slight edge to exploit in terms of player availability and the tactical advantages to be had. Liverpool have no additional injury concerns for the vital tie against Spurs.
