Fulham’s squad arrived in the Premier League this season and after changing through a number of managers couldn’t manage to stay in the top flight.
The second bottom club is destined for the Championship next season and will be sweating on the futures of players like Aleksandar Mitrovic and Andre Schurrle (a world champion). The Cottagers have been miserable this season and their relegation almost guarantees that the best players would leave.
However, Liverpool have been sending scouts to the London club and may have a couple of players they feel will fit in at Anfield. If not immediately then certainly in the future.
One such player is Cody Drameh. The 17 year old is naturally a right back and is eligible for England. If his development goes according to expectation, he is set to become a Premier League star. Liverpool are reportedly interested in adding him to their development squad with an eye for the future.
For various age groups this season, Drameh has 24 appeearances with Fulham. He has been scouted a number of times this season by Reds’ Scouts.
Likened to Trent Alexander-Arnold by reports in the Daily Mail, he is also on the radar of some Bundesliga clubs (where English youth is all the rage these days) like Eintracht Frankfurt.
Klopp is said to be an admirer of the attack oriented defender and would like to mould him to his liking. In order to do that, Liverpool need to seal a transfer in the summer.
