Manchester United are no strangers to players not showing up for pre-season as they look for a way out. A few years ago, United had Angel Di Maria who failed to return to the squad in order to force a transfer away to PSG. Now, all the players have returned to pre-season training at Manchester United bar one: Paul Pogba. Only yesterday, he posted a princely 88 stories on Instagram.
The Pogba problem is nowhere near a solution
There have been apprehensions all summer about the future of Paul Pogba at Manchester United. He maybe a product of the United academy but several years in Italy seem to have done irreversible damage to his attitude and work ethic. He’s the de-facto star but one without any maturity in his behaviour.
Anyone got time to watch Paul Pogba's 88 Instagram stories? 😴

The likes of Lukaku, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial, Dalot, Lindelof all returned to pre-season training on Monday. Paul Pogba was speculatively absent.
United need all hands on deck
Manchester United finished last season by winning 2 of the 13 games they played. Dropping points like a train-wreck and dropping out of all European qualifying spots. United will depart for a pre-season tour of Australia and Asia but Pogba doesn’t seem interested in getting ready for the new season.
United have so far made two noticeable signings in the transfer window: Daniel James from Swansea and Wan-Bisakka from Crystal Palace. Speculation continues to grow over the future of Pogba who had recently said he would like a ‘new challange’. Is United no longer the club Paul Pogba will turn out for? We’ll know soon enough. For now, Solskjaer will have to prepare the squad without it’s pre-eminent midfielder.
