Man United are set to complete three more signings after the official announcement of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to the latest reports.
The ‘soon to be former Crystal Palace man’ has already had his medical at the Carrington as United awaits to wrap up all the interviews and sponsorship videos before making an official announcement.
The arrival of Wan-Bissaka means that the Red Devils have secured their most problematic position, but in no ways we are done yet.
The reports are indicating that once the Wan-Bissaka deal is completely wrapped up, Man United will set their attention to Sporting CP’s Bruno Fernandes.
The Red Devils have already had a chat with Fernandes’ agent who was in London this week as the personal terms were agreed between the player and the club.
Of course, there’s a small matter of the fee with Sporting demanding a cool £70m for the services of their superstar midfielder while United haggle on at anything close to £50m.
Hopefully, this one pans out in our favor as we would definitely need someone of his qualities in the midfield next season!
Moving on, we are also in a desperate need of a center-back to pair with Victor Lindelof.
Jones and Smalling have consistently been criticized for their performances, and while they could be an able back-up, there’s just no way they should be a starter for a club of our stature.
The Harry Maguire stories have gone silent in the last week or so after Leicester City demanded a hilarious £85m for his services. Hopefully, we can sign a world-class center-back at a reasonable price in the next few weeks or so.
So, as it turns out, the signings of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were much needed, but we are not even halfway done yet. July is definitely gonna be a month to keep our eyes on!
