Man United fans are bitterly divided over recent Scott McTominay transfer update suggesting West Ham’s interest in acquiring his services.

The Scottish international made 22 appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team in the 2018-19 season scoring twice.

However, Given United’s interest in West Ham’s central defender Issa Diop, the Hammers have enquired about the possibility of Scott McTominay coming the other way according to Sky Sports.

The report has bitterly divided Manchester United fans on Twitter and a heated debate followed over whether McTominay was good enough to make it at the highest stage.

McTominay’s biggest criticism is that he’s not enough to perform on the highest stage when the team are trying to make it into the Champions League places.

Whilst, some of Scot’s supporters argue that his work rate and dedication needs to be factored in and given his age, he has a lot of time to work on his technical abilities.
