In the Harry Maguire transfer news, Manchester United fans have stated that they would rather have Kalidou Koulibaly or Milan Skriniar in their side instead of Leicester Star for £80m, as per the latest reactions today.

Like we had reported earlier, Manchester United are ready to break the world record fee for a defender by snatching up Harry Maguire for £80m from Leicester City.

The 26-year-old had a wonderful world-cup with the Three Lions last year that was followed by a decent season at the Foxes.

With Manchester United in the need of an elite center-back to slot alongside Lindelof, the Red Devils fans have taken to Twiiter to express their concern on Maguire transfer news.

As per the fans, the Englishman is worth nowhere near the price that is being quoted for him, instead, Ed Woodward would do well to spend that money on someone like a Koulibaly or Skriniar who are better defenders and should be available at this kind of price range.

Here are some of the Tweets from the Man United fans:

There are an overwhelming amount of reactions on social media from the fans who think that Maguire to United at £80m is a bad idea.

That’s not to say that the 26-year-old is a bad defender. Maguire is a good player who should be an upgrade over the options that we currently have at our disposal at the Old Trafford. But that says more about the state of our players rather than Harry Maguire, doesn’t it?

The general consensus among the fans is that if Woodward is indeed ready to fork out a world record fee for the center-back position, why not go for players who have established themselves as one of the best in the world, instead of a decent option?
