Man United are lining up as Jasper Cillisen as David De Gea’s replacement as they’ve hit a stumbling block with his representatives over an extension.
De Gea has reportedly asked parity with club’s highest earner Alexis Sanchez’s colossal £400,000 per week paycheck which has been sternly refused by the Red Devils chief Ed Woodward report the Daily Record.
Woodward has secretly acknowledged that it was a big mistake to sign Sanchez on such uncompromising terms and is supposedly careful about doing as such again on account of De Gea, who persevered through a mistake-strewn end to the season.

Although the Red Devils have exercised the 12-month extension on his current contract, failing to secure a long term extension could mean losing him on a free next season adding further impetus to United’s search for David De Gea’s replacement.
So as to keep away from that scenario, The Red Devils would need to sell De Gea in the upcoming transfer window and in spite of the fact that this season was arguably his worst in United’s colours, despite everything he has a lot of suitors with PSG, Juventus and long haul suitors Real Madrid, all lurking.
Should the Spaniard chose to quit Old Trafford this summer, Dutch international Jasper Cillisen is being touted as the favourite to become David De Gea’s replacement.
The 30-year-old is looking for first-team football making only 30 appearances for the Catalan Giants since making the switch from Ajax three seasons ago.
Addressing the speculations on his future, ‘First I will go on holiday. And then I hope to have a new club where I can play because I want to play.’ Cillisen told a Dutch TV station last month.
