Manchester United have opened talks with Bayern Munich star Niklas Sule on the possibility of a summer transfer to the Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a centre back signing his top priority with only Victor Lindelof deemed good enough to start every week.
OGS has the options of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo but all of them are only good enough to be squad players while Eric Bailly hasn’t had enough opportunities to prove himself to the Norwegian, thanks to his injury problems.
Niklas Sule, meanwhile, is having a great season at Bayern Munich after displacing Jerome Boateng from the starting lineup.
The 23-year-old is one of the lowest earners in the Bayern squad and Woodward and co. think that Sule could be willing to move to the Premier League having been keen on joining Chelsea a couple of years back before he opted for Bayern.
The dreams of signing Raphael Varane and Kalidou Koulibaly might be too much for Manchester United with both of them costing more than 100 million while Sule could be available for £40million.
Do you think we should go for Niklas Sule?
