The summer transfer window is approaching closer and so are the rumours mills with weird transfer stories.
Christian Eriksen has been one of the best players in the Premier League for the last few seasons for Tottenham and his consistent performances haven’t gone unnoticed across Europe with big clubs circling around the 27-year-old.
Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are in a need of a player in the mould of Christian Eriksen who can consistently create chances and score goals from the midfield and ease the pressure on Pogba.
Not that plying away the Dane from the London Club and Daniel Levy would be an easy task, but the rumour mills have gone a step further by claiming that Woodward is ready to offer Tottenham cash plus their pick from defenders Eric Bailly, Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo in exchange of Eriksen.
To be honest, though, Eriksen earns £70,000 a week at Tottenham and United could offer him three times the money to persuade him to sign for the Red Devils.
But the big problem here would be this one: Negotiating with Daniel Levy. The man is mental and would demand crazy money for his player.
If we can somehow persuade Eriksen to force his way out of the Spurs, we might have a chance here. As far as offering one of Eric Bailly, Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo, I don’t think Pochettino would be interested in any one of those players anyway!
