Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ‘reportedly’ ready to sell Anthony Martial after being fed up with the attitude of the Frenchman.
Anthony Martial had a difficult time under Jose Mourinho, however, the Frenchman was supposed to get back into form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but that didn’t happen, did it?
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder was looking to make an exit from the Old Trafford and would possibly have done so if Jose Mourinho had stayed on, but the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer changed that and Martial signed a new 5-year contract on 31 January 2019 to stay with us until 2024.
However, things haven’t been as rosy as expected. 10 Goals and 2 assists in the Premier League don’t sound so bad but the questions have been raised over Martial’s attitude in recent weeks.
A few days ago, we covered this article where we explained why the gaffer gave a dressing down to the Frenchman over his dilly dally warmup routine and now after the 1-1 draw against Huddersfield, Ole hinted that some players may have played their games for the Club:
‘I can’t talk about individuals now but there’s a chance you’ve seen the last of players anyway. ‘There’s always a chance it’s a last time but I wouldn’t say that about any individual now, I don’t think that’s fair.’
The reports say that Anthony Martial could be one of those players alongside Alexis Sanchez, Matteo Darmian and Romelu Lukaku who have played their last game for Manchester United.
If the reports are indeed true, all we can say is, talent only gets you so far, the rest is hard work, the right attitude and the desire to succeed!
