Roy Keane: ''You look at Matthijs de Ligt, he’s captaining Ajax at 19 years old earning a modest wage. Meanwhile Rashford is scoring 10 goals a season, killing disabled fans in wheelchairs with his free kicks earning £100k & Lingard is earning £120k to be an Instagrammer.” 😳😂😂 pic.twitter.com/rwQGyXU1na

The Dutch international has helped his side to a domestic double on the top of an impressive run in the Champions League.
He has been almost sure to leave the Eredivisie champions at the end of the season with Barcelona said to be the most likely destination following in the footprints of another breakout Ajax star Frenkie De Jong.
But that did not stop Premier League suitors like United from inquiring about the Ajax Skipper but were turned down quickly according to the Sun.
Although that might not be the end of United’s hopes to the land De Ligt.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Negotiations between De Ligt’s representatives and Barcelona have reached an impasse.
The Catalan giants are sceptic regarding the wage demands made by the player and the fee his agent Mino Raiola is charging to broker the deal.
With both parties reportedly standing firm on their demands, Outsiders like United could benefit.
