Manchester United have contacted Fulham over the transfer of Ryan Sessegnon, according to the latest reports in the Sky Sports.
Like we covered in our previous report, Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are looking to complete the deals for young and homegrown talents instead of going for the big names in this summer transfer window.
The Norwegian has a job on his hand to revamp the squad and build a new Manchester United side that is capable to fight and challenge for the big trophies.
Ryan Sessegnon is a young and English talent who had a phenomenal 2017-18 season in the Championship with Fulham where he helped his side to climb the ladder to the Premier League.
There were several clubs who were interested in the services of the teenager at the start of the last season, most notably Spurs, but Ryan decided to stay put at Fulham for another season.
However, the left back turned left winger has had a massively underwhelming season in the Premier League where he failed to live up to his hype and expectations.
The 19-year-old was in and out of the side under Claudio Ranieri and was deployed mostly on the Right Wing to accommodate Ryan Babel in the team which didn’t help his case either!
But with just one year left in his contract and the fact that Sessegnon is still one of the most gifted Footballer in the league (also English, homegrown and only 19), Manchester United have contacted Fulham over the availability of the winger/wing-back.
While Tottenham are still in the race for his signature, Manchester United have the money to blow them out of the water if we wish to do so.
The question here is; Is Ryan Sessegnon the player we are looking for?
What do you think of this transfer?
