Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club revealed it’s away kit for the upcoming 2019-20 season.

The kit differs from the conventional hues United will in general use for their away jersey’s, and rather utilized a ‘new savannah-toned aesthetic’ with a designed structure that ”takes its inspiration from the many mosaics that adorn the streets of Manchester’s creative district, the Northern Quarter.’

It is already up for grabs on official United store.

United usually go through a cycle of using white, black and blue for their away strips but have decided to break the mould this season with the beige design, which is reminiscent of the gold and black away kit from the 2001/02 season.

As well as the prime ‘savannah’ it features black trimming on the crewneck collar, cuffs and trademark Adidas three strippes. The United badge is also blacked out rather than the traditional colours.

The socks are the same colour scheme as the shirt, though the shorts are black with savannah trimming.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will wear the shirt for the first time when they play their first friendly of pre-season against Perth Glory on Saturday.

United have already released their new home kit for the coming season but are yet to reveal the third kit.

The fans have has mixed reactions to the unveiling of their away strip.
