Man United fans want the club to bring back Axel Tuanzebe after the youngster enjoyed a solid campaign with Aston Villa.

It’s fair to say that the Mancunian faithful have not had a lot to enjoy this campaign.

The Red Devils failed to win any major trophies on the top of missing out on next season’s Champions League finishing at a measly sixth position.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has vowed to change around the future of the club and is expected to oversee a major overhaul in personnel during the summer transfer window.

One of the areas that need immediate improvement for United is their central defence.

Eric Bailly has been heavily plagiarised by his form and fitness whilst Chris Smalling and Phil Jones have simply not been up to the standards.

Only Victor Lindelof can hold his head up high after an impressive campaign as the search for his partner continues.

The Red Devils have been linked with the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Harry Maguire and most recently Matthijs De Ligt.

However, Man United fans seem to think there is an alternative.

A section of United fans want the club to bring back Axel Tuanzebe to Old Trafford after the academy graduate enjoyed a stellar campaign with Aston Villa helping them gain promotion to the Premier League.

The 21-year-old featured heavily during Villa’s ten-game winning run in the second half of the campaign and United fans seem to think that he could produce the same goods at Old Trafford given the right guidance.
