Manchester United are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller as a replacement to Romelu Lukaku, according to the latest reports.
The appointment of Antonio Conte means that Inter Milan are desperately trying to land our Belgian Striker as their priority signing in this summer transfer window.
Romelu Lukaku has already talked about his fondness for the Serie A and his agent Federico Pastorello has held several meetings with Inter Milan chiefs to get on with this transfer.
The only stumbling block in this deal? The money United are demanding for the transfer! You can read the full story here.
So, with Romelu Lukaku potentially gone, Manchester United needs another Striker who can compete with Marcus Rashford at the Old Trafford next season.
We have been linked to the likes of Nicolas Pepe in the past few weeks and even Moussa Dembele has been quoted as one of the options who could replace the departing Belgian.
But now, if the latest reports are to be believed, Ed Woodward and co. have added Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller as one of the options for the potentially vacant Striker position.
It is being claimed that Manchester United sent their scouts to watch the Striker in action in the Europa League semi-final against Chelsea (which Frankfurt lost on penalties) and were impressed by the Frenchman.
The 24-year-old joined the German club in 2017 and has managed to score 15 goals in 23 league starts last season which is a pretty impressive number!
With there no. 1 Striker Luka Jovic already off to Real Madrid in a £60m, 6-year-deal, Eintracht Frankfurt would want to hold on to Haller for this campaign.
However, if Manchester United can offer the ‘right money’ for the 24-year-old, Frankfurt could be tempted in a transfer.
Do you think Sebastien Haller is a wise choice?
