Manchester United women’s Captain, Alex Greenwood, is set to join the European Champions Lyon in this transfer window, as per reports from Sky Sports.
The 25-year-old left-back Alex Greenwood joined Manchester United from Liverpool last season and was very impressive, scoring 4 goals in 18 appearances, while Captaining the side to the league title in Manchester United’s first season in the FA WSL Championship.
A first-choice England International, Greenwood has made 41 appearances for The Three Lioness after making her debut in 2014.
A Manchester United Women’s statement read: “We have agreed terms with @OLFeminin for the transfer of @AlexGreenwood.
“A further announcement will be made in due course.”
