Manchester United play Tottenham Hotspur at home in the English Premier League and if the reports are to be believed, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future as Manchester United’s gaffer depends on the result of this one game.
The game also gains importance because it is the first time Jose Mourinho will be heading back to the Stadium he recently used to call home. We all know he holds grudges and though he will not accept it, he will look to prove a point or two.
Contradictory to Manchester United’s poor run of form after a catastrophic start, Tottenham have looked re-energised after Jose took over as the in charge. On that note, let’s see have a look at the probable Manchester United lineup that might start against Spurs.
David de Gea is expected to start as the goalkeeper and no doubt he’ll be tested heavily by the like of Dele Alli.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play at right-back, though over on the left-hand side of the defence, we’ve gone for Ashley Young. The Englishman brings that experience which Brandon Williams has shown a lack of this term. Harry Maguire starts at centre-half and in comes Axel Tuanzebe for Victor Lindelof.
Scott McTominay makes a return from injury for this one. Unfortunately, though, Fred and Andreas Pereira both still play – that’s basically due to a lack of any other options at Solskjaer’s disposal.
Anthony Martial will continue to lead the line with Marcus Rashford to his left and Daniel James on his right. Hopefully, this is a trio that can do some damage to a usually-stern back line.
