Maurizio Sarri has hinted that he expects his protege Gonzalo Higuain to stay beyond the duration of his current loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
The Argentine had a rather uneventful outing against Manchester United after being ruled offside five times in the game. Chelsea fans and pundits alike don’t see him staying beyond the summer but Sarri begs to differ:
Speaking after yesterday’s game, Sarri Said:
In theory, yes.
It’s difficult to adapt to the Premier League. I think in the next season he will be able to score a lot.
It remains to be seen if Chelsea keeps hold of the Argentine and if they decide to, how do they do it since the verdict of their appeal against the two-window transfer ban still remains at large.
